During this session, educators will investigate how to introduce, or further integrate, a focus on global issues in their content areas. The session will specifically focus on how awareness-raising can be a key action students can take easily. Educators can expect to leave with ready to go lessons and activities that could be implemented the next day! Through this session educators will also be able to learn how to access tickets to WE Day for the 2017-2018 school year. Caitlin Botsios is the Manager of Professional Development for WE Schools. As a former Chicago educator, Caitlin is passionate about providing innovative development to educators so they can utilize their learnings to further engage their students. She is a current fellow in Teach For All’s Global Educator Development cohort and sits on North-Grand High School’s Local School Council.
