September 30, 2015 @ 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Join Common Sense Education and Northeastern Illinois University Center for College Access and Success on Wednesday, September 30th, 5:30pm-7pm to help you prepare to become a Digital Citizenship Certified Educator. This seal awarded by Common Sense allows you to let administrators and parents know that you are committed to teaching children to be responsible and thrive in the digital world. We will be discussing how to integrate our K-12 scope and sequence into your curriculum and launch your classroom or school program during National Digital Citizenship Week October 18th-23rd. Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Archdiocese and many other districts are asking teachers to to teach at least three lessons per grade level and become certified educators with Common Sense. This session will count as your training for certification. Northeastern will be awarding attendees credit hours. Dinner and drinks will be provided for this hands-on BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Workshop. Parking is FREE across the street after 3pm
