A Crime Has Been Committed (A Forensics Mystery)

Someone has committed a crime at the school!!! Come experience an interactive forensic investigation that you can repeat with your students! Whether used as a unit of study, or the foundation for a Family Night, students will learn how to use science to make a claim based on evidence. This unit consists of microscope basics, fingerprint identification, and various science skills to help engage the diverse learner at various levels within a real-life concept. At the conclusion of the unit, students put all the evidence together to make an accusation (conclusion) that is backed by science. Workshop includes 2 CPDUs/Work Hours and a light snack.
